36 days gone.
5 days left.
You're probably confused, make it make sense, you say.
I will, I definitely will.
As you can see, we have 365 days in a year, and we have spent 36 days. Shouldn't we just be left with 5? Well, that may be true if we are looking at the number of days through a visual perspective; however, from a mathematical perspective, we still have 329 days to go in this year.
Now, does this mean that the one who thinks that we have five days left is wrong? No. Yes, a matter of perspective.
When it comes to the matter of perspective, we are used to the analogy of the numbers 6 and 9 and people standing in opposite directions, but while this makes sense, the analogy I gave above of 5 days being left in the year seems to make no sense right? That's how differing perspectives sometimes look. It seems as though the other person has no reasoning ability, and it leaves you to wonder, how did they arrive at such a conclusion??
Now, that's how life is; we all are different people with different opinions, backgrounds, experiences and thought patterns. It is expected that at one point or the other, we come across people with wild and dangerously varying opinions from us; this doesn't mean anything is wrong with them; they are just seeing life through a different lens.
Rather than dispel their opinion and write it off, let us first try to see life from their perspective, you'd be surprised what you will learn.
Of course, some opinions don't actually make sense, but let's endeavour to be curious enough to try to see things from the eyes of others.
Now, I would love to see life through your lens; when you saw the topic of today's letter, what came to your mind? Let me know in the comments section.
Yours in Curiousity,
A Radical Stranger.
Perceived Ignorance: All of us are meant to see life the same way.
Probable Cure: Opinions will always differ, be curious enough to see through another's lens and learn from it.

The 5-day countdown to the end of the year is on.
When I saw the subject of this letter,my first thought was, "What did this man drink tonight?"
Kidding but not kidding.
Opinions will always differ. We need to agree to disagree a lot of times.
One of the reasons you won't find me arguing (except it is a debate competition or a productive meeting, or about Bread and Beans being the best food combinations ever), is because I know and understand that many people don't want their minds changed. They have a fixed opinion on the subject and no matter what you say, they are never willing to bulge.
In all, we all need to be more open minded.
When I saw the Topic, I was like, Nifemi is at it again! 😂❤️
